Being from Florida we have high expectations for fresh fish. Osaki's is the best sushi we have ever had! We can't wait to go back to Vail to have the special Osaki Roll.
For being in Colorado, I felt the sushi was a fair value. The price is a little high, but the quality is respectable. The restaurant is very small which gives it a unique atmosphere. However, I would not recommend going with a large group. The service was good, although the interaction with the chef from the sushi bar could have been better. Here is my order sheet from March 27, 2007: [hidden link].
Easily the best in Colorado! Fab service and excellent sushi! 4 Star- 5 Happy Faces- 4 Diamond! A must if you’re in Vail!
We've enjoyed sushi in San Francisco and all over the country. This is our favorite of all! The quality is amazing. Our favorite is the Yellowtail Jalepeno--great flavors with Osakis homemade ponzu sauce and a little kick with fresh sliced jalepenos. Osakis roll was our second favorite. Great value! Make sure to make reservations or you might not get in.
