Valemount Swiss Bakery

Finding good bread in Canada can be a challenge, but you won't be disappointed at this restaurant.

Lovely bakery, though quite small. We decided to pop in and explore after missing out on a $5 BBQ cheeseburger fundraiser hosted by the Lions Club at the IGA.

Yummy baked goods! Everything is made fresh, and they open at 5:30AM! They only accept cash, though.

This is exactly what we look for in small towns when we travel! Good homemade food, excellent baking, and a nice covered porch to visit with your new local friends...what a great town! Nice treat as you come off the bike park trails! My only ask would be to see some whole wheat options on the treat side, not just in the yummy breads!

It is a difficult decision what to have at the Swiss bakery as everything looks and smells so good. Our croissants and pastries were fresh. Wish we had more time to try everything on the menu.
