First of all, this food was nothing short of spectacular! My family of four loved every single thing they ate, and THAT is a major accomplishment!! Chef Fredrick is that guy that you want to be your dawg!!! Jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp, crawfish, chicken, Mac and cheese to die for, VODOO ROLLS!!! Then came desert. Red velvet cake, key lime cake, sweet potato pie…I thought I was in Cajun/Mardi Gras/nawlins heaven!!! I would have paid three times the price we paid and still been satisfied.
If there was a way to give more stars, I would. I post a lot of date nights on social media, but this beats them all.... Friends, you have absolutely GOT TO, GOT TO, GOT TO, try this place if you want the BEST Cajun food ever! I cannot HYPE this man enough! Everything is fresh, made to order, seasoned to perfection! Phenomenal food and an even better person living his best life running his small business! We had the Crawfish Voodoo Rolls and Catfish with red beans and rice. Unbelievably delicious!
Not sure how this is 5 stars. Service was horrible food was worse. Waited too long for poorly seasoned, unflavored food. Trying to pass swai for catfish, really??
OMG!!! Where do I start! We walk into a very quaint place, greeted by Chef Frederick, and the journey begins! We felt like we were coming home to see family, AND the BEST home cooking in New Orleans....actually, better! Chef Frederick, like the best friend we all want, knew exactly what we were craving (even though we didn't have a clue) LOL! The menu changes, but after your first visit you know, whatever is on the menu, you will love!
