El Nopal - Valley Park

My very favorite Mexican Restaurant! Chips and Salsa is great, the queso is so unbelievably good and my favorite is the Burrito Al Carbon which is a burrito with fajita steak it is so good!

Try the burrito Alambre!!!???The food is what keeps me coming back.Have grace for this mom and pop restaurant.With all that said I really like El Nopal for their food. Service isn’t bad here but there’s also never been anyone from the wait staff who stood out other than Sharron. Sometimes there’s a wait but it’s only because El Nopal gets busy. And if your food takes a while to come out just remember to have patience with the kitchen staff.As far as menus go, El Nopal has a pretty good variety of dishes to try. I’m a huge fan of anything Alambre on their menu due to the fact it will come with bacon ?.Chips for the salsa are better than a lot of other places I’ve been. Salsa is mild but decent. Some days it’s great but never bad.There is no bartender here so your drinks are made by your waiter. I’d suggest using that to your advantage, and tell them what you really want your mixed drink to taste like. They will accommodate.Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian, you can eat onions, peppers, tomatoes, beans, rice, and cheese, chips, salsa, tortillas, and drink margaritas, so you’re good.Parking: Parking lot spaces closest to the door fill up but there’s always room on the lot.Kid-friendliness: Like all restaurants they have kid options like chicken tenders, fries, and such.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s tables to accommodate customers in wheelchairs. The vestibule is kind of tight but definitely passable.

Food was gross and unseasoned, ant the service was atrocious.

Amazing portion sizes and the house marg is Soo tasty!!! My server was Soo attentive to our table even though they were slammed. Thanks again!!

The food here tastes authentic to me (a very white lady, who at least has been to Mexico quite a few times! . It's honestly delicious, I have never had anything not good here. Staff is friendly. Margaritas do not disappoint. The chips and salsa are on point. Particularly love the fajitas, but burritos, enchiladas, nachos, taquitos are all really yummy! It's kind of a whole in the wall vibe, but it's definitely a clean, and enjoyable, and fun atmosphere.
