Delicious food.
I had a nice lunch here with a Kuntzmann beer. A convenient location that is bustling from boating activity straight over the balcony
The food was not that great, my fish was frozen. Not the best.
Bote Salvavidas is the only restaurant directly adjacent to the port, making it a busy spot for locals and tourists. It closes at five in the afternoon every day catering to a lunch crowd. During the weekends it is recommended you book a table or be ready to wait in line for twenty minutes to half an hour. The seating processes for walk-ins is excruciatingly slow due to the COVID restrictions and the need to register every person that enters the restaurant. The menu is simple and caters to grilled and fried fish with classics including caldillo de congrio and machas parmesanas. The interior is large with a row of tables next to a balcony offering great views of the port. The service is efficient, friendly but frenetic. There is a need to turn over as many tables as possible. The caldillo de congrio (12,750 pesos) was good but lacked seasoning, while the grilled salmon (10,990 pesos) was aided by a choice of sauces from the menu.
