Extremely friendly staff and the food was amazing! Thank you so much for going above and beyond to cater to my out of town guests. You truly made our day!
Order 15 jumbo shrimp and I got one small cocktail sauce for my shrimp. I was told that I had to pay .50 cent for an extra sauce. Like how are you serving shrimp and making the customer pay for cocktail sauce.. This one container is not enough saucefor 15 jumbo shrimp.. This is bad business and I need to find another Captain Jay's..
The service was quick, but I was not sure if the catfish fillets were actually catfish. They tasted similar, but I think they might have been swain fish or something else. The shrimp and fried okra were unique and tasty. All the dishes were served hot. I ended up getting a Fantastrawberry drink at Wendy's because Captain Jay's did not have it.
The manager at this restaurant was extremely disrespectful, using derogatory language towards a customer and speaking condescendingly to those using EBT cards. During my interview, I waited 15 minutes only to be told by the manager that he was too busy to speak with me. I was appalled by his behavior.
