Steel Toad Brewing Company - Vancouver

Our server has made mistakes several times and eating was terrible! I commanded the nachos and couldn't finish them. not order! my friend ordered the wings and there was hardly any flesh on them. very little for gluten-free options and almost nothing for vegans. would not come back.

It was a nice evening. The service started off slow. My drinks were average. They ran out of Kahului.

It was our first time there. It was my birthday and said so in the reservation but it was NOT even acknowledged.Table was small and too close to the next so we moved over. Dead in there didnt need to reserve.Calamari was tough,chewy and the worst. Pizza was luke warm and VERY soggy. Not enough beer choices. Will NOT ever go back again, even though it has great potential.

So, not sure what’s happening at this place .... we’ve been quite a few times and enjoyed it previously (quite a bit actually) but maybe there is new management? The food is still great but the service was “meh” and they called me to make sure we wouldn’t stay too long, as there was another reservation following ours. Not sure why their “management problems” became ours. Too bad, because we had previously quite enjoyed this place, very close to home. But there’s lots to choose from in Vancouver so on we go!

Fun evening in great surrounding. Great server, great food.
