Every record was thrilled. Service was good, definitely a place. But the view cannot beat and beautiful walks on the waterfront when we dinner.
We came here after a business conference and it wasn't so busy after 8:00. I chose the special salmon they had offered tonight. Avocado and tomatoes salsa with jasmine rice and shaved brussel sprouts. My food looked great, but missing taste. Rice was terrible! Brussel spikes were cut thin, but undercooked. The onions were cut so much raw. The salmon was overcooked a touch and it could have used a sauce. It tasted pretty good, but just a little dry. If an article was not good on my plate, I could have overlooked it. However, when all three things were meh or terrible, it was disappointing for a $30 meal. Our waiter was very nice, but didn't look very often. He came by when we had hardly any time to taste a bite when I was not satisfied with my food, it was too late. I was too hungry at the time. The man came by and asked how our food was and my staff food was great, but I couldn't say the same. I said it was just okay. He saw what I ordered and said he already had 3x. That surprised me because I wouldn't order it again. At least he offered us to buy dessert that I enjoyed my drunk donuts, even if I couldn't finish them. They were also super sweet and I could have done without the powder sugar. The chocolate and caramel sauces were good. The Amaretto sauce was meh. You tried!
Foods are not good compared to their price. We tried Bulgogi Beef Bowl and Lemon Caper Halibut. Beefs were not delicate, not well cooked and difficult to chew. Fish was also dry and not delicious. Portions were small. We got both stomach pain after we had eaten the food until midnight. Resturant is beautiful and beautiful ambience.
Relaxing atmosphere and wonderful outdoor seating. For an appetizer we got the fries with fondue, and it was super good. The main course, I got the lemon caper halibut (educated) and my husband got the shrimp tacos. They were pretty good, but we both agreed a little more taste would have made them better. The service was good, it was a busy Friday night. We will definitely visit again.
Definitely worth a trip. I had Crab Mac Cheese the wife had a pizza. Both were fantastic. The environment is the real treat here. Loved the waterfront view and the newer Vancouver riverwalk area. Start with lunch or dinner here and then walk down to the Milkshake bar. A great place for lunch dates! They have outdoor heaters as well if you are worried about the temperature ?
