Basil Pasta Bar - Vancouver

I absolutely love this restaurant! As a pasta enthusiast who also looks for good value, this place never disappoints. My girlfriend and I always have a great time here.

We were the only customers at the restaurant when we arrived around noon on Sunday.

The pasta at this restaurant is a great value for the portion size, but we found that the dishes we tried were a bit lacking in flavor.

Nice staff, but below average food. I had the Gnocchi Bolognese and I'm pretty sure the gnocchi came out of a freezer bag. The sauce was acidic and lacked flavour. The music was so loud it was difficult to hold a conversation, and the place was freezing (My son and I kept our winter jackets on and we're still cold).

Came in with a few friends last night for dinner. They ordered to stay but I ordered to go. It took 40min for our pasta to arrive and my to go order was literally about half or 1/3 the size of everybody else’s. When I asked the waitress she was dismissive and walked away. Would NOT reccomend for take out!
