I guess you can veganize the huevos rancheros, but I did this and it's boring. I can't eat gluten, so the Tofu Burger is not a way for me. I also do not recommend having the potatoes at your meal. I already had bacon in my potatoes. She apologized and informed me that they were cooked right next to the meat, so now I always decided to take place for organic brown rice. Unfortunately, the last two times I went, they put potatoes on my plate instead of rice. I also noticed that the portion sizes always decrease so easily. I recently went with my parents and my mother had only 4 potatoes with her brunch. All in all, it's a big little place with good food, but it just needs a few more vegan options. I know at least 2 of the servers there is vegan, why not add some options?
The Tofu Scramble is amazing, and very fill. Veggie BLT and Tofu Burger are both good, but ask for no milk (butter or Mayo) and Sub for Guac. There is also a choice to add Veggie ham (it tastes like it could be Yves brand, but I still have to ask to ensure). My complaint is, I really wish they had more vegan alternatives (such as cheese, or tofutti ice cream for their amazing milkshakes, which I used to enjoy so much). The staff there are super polite and very trendy. Maybe in the near future they are more open to vegan decisions!
I've been coming here for three years. You have a great breakfast on offer. He used to go to Slickity Jim's on Main and discovered this place right by me. Like more! They offer a small salad with breakfast, good roasted yams and potatoes and a very good coffee for boating! Just pull back to come after 10:00 when you arrive in the main time at Sat or Sun morning. The service here is fine. I read a complaint in the West Ender newspaper in Vancouver, but they really try to help you. It is not vegetarian, however, so my kosher abiding husband cannot eat here..boo hoo!
I enjoy it here. Nutritious and comforting vegan options.
