Contribuer aux commentairesThe food at this restaurant was mediocre at best, with some dishes even being terrible. The Italian sausage roll had greasy sausage inside that was unappetizing. It seemed like many of the items were just reheated in the microwave. The coffee was average. It seems like the main draw for this place is its low prices, as many older people from the neighborhood come here for a cheap meal and to socialize.
We frequent this establishment for its delicious coffee and croissants. However, we have never felt welcomed during our visits. Some of the staff members have been dismissive, arrogant, and rude. As an Asian customer, I have noticed they seem to be particularly dismissive towards other Asians, including my husband who is Caucasian. It is surprising as all the staff members are also Asian.
I frequent this restaurant because we enjoy the owner and location, but the food is mediocre. It's not my first choice for a satisfying meal.
We called in for breakfast on our way to Stanley Park. We had a ham egg wrap, scrambled egg and bacon. The wrap was tasty and the right size for that time of the day. The scrambled egg was acceptable but the bacon, as...with most of North America is the usual streaky bacon, the cheapest cut of a bacon side, and extremely fatty, fat, meat). Coffee was ok but not that special. Disappointing.
We walked in, and decided to have a buffet breakfast. It’s really nice and feel good. Let us have a wonderful family breakfast.
