Contribuer aux commentairesI was there with my friends, eating was really good, waiters were friendly and we had fun. it can also be a great place to visit with the family and have some good Italian cuisine.
This is my second time to eat here, especially because of the situation. I can sit to look at the ozean while I eat my pasta and drink my wine. a perfect combination.
The food tasted good, no complaints. Maybe the Italian salad had too many big leaves, and mostly iceberg or other harder leaves. Both pasta dishes tasted very nice. There are areas: outdoors on the terrace (w ceiling fans), inside with air-con and inside upstairs....We dined upstairs for lunch. Much quieter and the large windows still overlook the sea past the terrace (which is not really possible downstairs). Staff was friendly and attentive. Would have loved to eat outside on the terrace but at noon time it was too hot/humid. They have sign on the table asking customers to order' the drinks without the straws to protect the environment, which is a good effort however we only saw this after we ordered our drinks and the waiter brought them with straws. I would suggest the waiters would ask as standard if one wants the drinks with a straw while pointing towards the sign. The restaurant is conveniently located in the (new modern) mall.
Expect the same kind of food as olive garden in the usa and very similar quality. the service might have been better. it was slow and they were not very attentive, but we had great sitting with a view of the sea and had a lot of time to spend. to talk and enjoy the view. when we return to the beach we enjoyed boca del rio, I am sure we will return to olive garden.
Food in general is good, but beverages not, I had a peach sangria because I read a review that was good, well it tasted like a caribe cooler but just more expensive. The waitress was very impolite, Service from her was terrible, she was like...in a bad mood; in the other hand the view from the terrace is beautiful.
