Contribuer aux commentairesThe location of this restaurant is great. I went with my 12 year old daughter. We ordered the clam chowder, calamari and tuna salad. The clam chowder and calamari were good. The tuna was dry and the potatoes undercooked. And strangely, at the end of our meal the server asked us if we wanted separate bills which made us think, how common is it that a 40 year old and their 12 year old friend dine there and pay separately?
This the PERFECT spot for people watching while you dine! We ordered an eclectic mix of cuisines for lunch fresh oysters, fried calamari, chicken nachos and sushi. Everything was delicious! The calamari was somehow gluten free, which one wouldn't know if they hadn't read the menu, and came with deep fried jalapenos. The oysters were super clean and plump, and the nachos were substantial, with a LOT of chicken. The service was excellent our server, Molly, was efficient, very friendly, and right at hand at all times without being intrusive. This restaurant should definitely be on your short list when you visit Victoria!
I can’t give it a five star review because they messed up my daughter’s sushi and put onions all over it when we had very specifically ordered it plain. Then they didn’t ask if we wanted another one…She sort of just asked if we could pick the onions off and walked away. Also, I ordered my steak rare, and it came very medium if not well done. Food was pretty good though, especially the field greens, which seemed extremely fresh! My **** Mary was also very very tasty.
Great atmosphere with the house music, kept it going. The coleslaw was great, the fish and chips excellent, the chowder delicious, and the cider perfectly complemented the whole dinner. You need one of these in Tucson.
Shockingly bar experience with many issues. We booked for a party of 10. First the server spilled a drink on my husbands shirt. The apology was odd, “oh sorry” but very nonchalant. Then the server left the table without taking one guests order, came back and apologized once notified. A guest ordered a burger with just cheese and ketchup and was brought a plain, burnt patty and dry bun. When notified they refused to put cheese and condiments and insisted on making a new burger. The new one came with cheese, relish and tons of onions, was supposed to also have bacon. Another guests dinner was 20 minutes behind for a “kitchen mixup”. Brought the wrong alcoholic drink that wasn’t ordered and charged for extra drinks on the bill that were never ordered. All in all not a good experience.
