Contribuer aux commentairesFood was excellent. 4 star for the long wait when there was only 3 tables waiting for food. I guess if they had extra help in the kitchen it would've been 5 star for me. Would come back again
Very attentive staff and clean establishment upstairs. Food came out quickly and very hot. Great flavours and good portions. Tried the mild seafood hotpot could have done medium easily mild had a hint of spice The fried rice had a uniqueflavour profile with lots extras not just a pile of rice with a few veggies and meat hiding within . The Vietnamese coffee wasgreat but comes with a paper straw totally forgot my metal straws! Prices are decent as you get a good amount of food $15 orless a dish . Basement, where bathrooms are located, is a bit damp smelling and bathrooms, while clean, weren't what I wouldhave expected. Since there are quite a few staora, not great for anyone with mobility issues.
That was literally the best meal I can say I had in over a year in victoria. my partner and I fell in love with both. top 5 meals I had in my life easy. only wow. as someone who loves eating and tried new restaurants, I was never here and have no belonging to the place and can honestly say that this meal was really excellent (garden curry and mother special ingwer bark). to soon again!
I haven't been here for twenty years. I'm glad it's still in business. but really it is so dark, so simple, so depressing with blue carpet, not much light. old tables, old chairs. paper napkins, no drinks menu. and that's okay. Maybe the pho is great. the spring roll and the bark kebab was so. bark chew, it felt as if it had been left to sit. not hot and squirt. jump roll wrapper crispy and great, but fill mushy and much too much. I'm sorry. these places need a makeover.
From calgary to visit, and I never had such a sharp phophopho! Normally I would have the satay and hoisin sauce on the side, but with the spicy pho I had nothing to add except the bean spray. so good!
