Israel is poised to become one of the greatest chefs in the world!
**The Not So Good:** However, the atmosphere was a bit off, as the restaurant was nearly empty but the music was very loud. I mentioned the volume to the staff since we had to shout to hear each other, but unfortunately, it wasn't lowered. I also had the nettle fettuccini, which had an unusual taste reminiscent of a 'urinal cake' that I couldn't overlook (I really hope it was just an odd spice and not something else). If the music volume were reduced, I believe more people who appreciate local, organic, and foraged foods would be drawn in. The menu suggests it should be bustling, but overall, it just didn't fully meet its potential for greatness. With a few adjustments, it certainly could!
Our server was very polite. We enjoyed the margarita flatbread, mushroom soup, lobster salad roll as veggie lasagna which was the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The location can’t be beat!
After moving into our new Victoria home my wife and I dropped in for a quick dinner. The service was friendly, the food delicious and the view exciting. Three monster cruise ships outside our window created a frenzy of buses, taxis, float planes, helicopters and pedestrians. Quite entertaining.
