3.6 rating<br/ We had gnocchi, eggs and toast, crab omelette. We had a chicken parfait to share. We ordered extra toast and they made it straight away because 'parfait cannot wait ' to quote one of the lovely staff<br/ Coffee was good. <br/ <br/ Food was not bad and the gnocchi dish (vegetarian) was my favourite. My husband said the crab omelette was ok , he is into bloke food so perhaps he would have fared better with the pork roll or something perhaps? <br/ <br/ Don 't come here with super high expectations of a degustation type menu like Amuse. Just come for a nice breakfast.
Hampton Maley is a great spot for a casual brekky/lunch. The food never disappoints and the coffee is not bad (ex-Melbournian rating). <br/ <br/ My only note is that the black roof/walls really don't work for me. It makes the atmosphere seem really closed in and dark. I'd probably opt for a lighter/brighter space with more indoor plants.
Years ago, Chef scored top husband points by surprising me with an unforgettable dego at now-closed fine diner Restaurant Amuse. That is still one of the best meals we’ve enjoyed in Perth. We were so happy to hear that Head Chef/Owner Hadleigh Troy and his wife Carolynne have set up shop just over the Causeway at Hampton and Maley in Vic Park.
