The restaurant itself is very simple with plain tables and chairs. I think it’s what you can expect from a local Trattoria in Italy. They will tell you in Italian what they serve the specific day. On special days they serve pizza. Try it, the pizzas are very good. We have tried a couple of their dishes and all was very good, but the Zuppe di Pesche was excellent. Remind, if you want that dish you have to order it the day before.
After a morning of hiking the Old Telegraph Trail, we were very excited to come upon this cute little restaurant! The owners speak very little English and there is no menu, but we were able to order several delicious dishes. The owners were incredibly warm and friendly, and very interested in learning more about us and travels. In very broken English and Italian, we did our best to communicate with them! We really enjoyed the pasta, fresh local fish (bones still in but very good! , and complimentary lemon cake for dessert! The owner also brought us a complimentary appetizer of fried fish, which we enjoyed as well. Overall, it was a great experience. We would go back if it were a bit closer to where we are staying!
We had a really good meal here. The food is simple but very well done. We tried the melanze parmigiana and orichiette al sugo and after that a fish prepared on the wood fire. All very good and modestly priced.

In questo posto sembra di essere a casa della nonna. Era tutto così casereccio e i piatti semplici. Il personale è stato gentile e alla mano. In puglia cercavo proprio un posto cosi! Sono rimasta sorpresa anche dalla tiella, era buonissima.
