Krispy Krunch Chicken - Villanova

Chicken was okay. The sides were good. Not bad for a gas station.

This is a typical gas station chicken place. The chicken is good but the hot lights can dry it out. They make it extra greasy to compensate.It didn't bad, but beware substitute bellies.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I carefully chose where to eat in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic on Monday, and Krispy Krunchy exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The warm, flavorful roll paired perfectly with the crispy chicken that reminded me of my grandmother's southern cooking. The chicken tasted fresh and not frozen, and the buffalo sauce added a tangy kick that was better than Popeye's. The honey butter biscuit was a standout, especially when dipped in the amazing honey sauce. I enjoyed my lunch so much that I plan on returning tomorrow and the next day. Whether you are a hungry student at Villanova or a family of five, I highly recommend this place.

The chicken was tasty, but it seemed like it had been sitting for a while.

This restaurant may not be Popeyes, but it is an incredible chicken place.
