I love my time here when I went to lunch! I had her vegan chicken and avocado sandwich, and I was excited to see all the different vegan and vegetarian options. I also got a latte and was happy to find out that they offer almond and oat milk in their coffee drinks. It is a bit to reach a walk from the sea, but well worth the walk (and has a lot of parking if you prefer to drive).
Good coffee, nice food, but not many vegan options. I had the vegan chick panini that was delicious, but would have preferred roasted vegetables / tempeh for faux chicken. Very friendly and super service
During a recent visit to town for a sports tournament, my daughter and I decided to explore different dining options. Unfortunately, we had mixed experiences with the restaurants in the area. Our breakfast at Java Surf turned out to be quite pricey, almost matching the cost of our dinner the night before. The ordering process was a bit confusing, and we found the menu pricing to be misleading. I ordered the Big Kahuna, which contained more ingredients than my daughter's build your own sandwich, yet hers ended up being more expensive. Despite the lengthy wait for our food, it was decent once it arrived. However, we were disappointed to have paid $16 for a croissant filled with just two eggs, cheddar cheese, and avocado.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for brunch and had an excellent time. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the service was prompt, and the food was incredibly tasty. We also ordered lattes which we thoroughly enjoyed. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning in the future.
