We came in late on a Sunday and just got dessert to split between my wife and I. I recommend a reservation because this place has good food and the tables fill up fast. The employees were very friendly and the desserts we got we ordered the taster trio ? were all great! Of note: bring a mask and proof of vaccination Current as of 24 April 2022 . This is required, but as long as you have it the service, vibes, and food are amazing!
Amazing food in volcano! I had the ka’ū special of blue marlin and my wife got the pork chop. Both were fantastic, and can’t forget about the burrata appetizer! Their pesto is so good we are going to come back for more! Sorry, I couldn’t help but to take a bite before I took a picture
The food reviews here are on the spot. We selected pizza as our (vegetarian) choice and very happy that we did. The pizza was hands down some of the best we've ever had anywhere. We ordered three whole pies with different toppings, all of them were excellent. If you are reading this, please note this is not a large establishment and seating is limited. As of April 10' 2022, they were still enforcing masks and checking vaccination status. We did not have a reservation but our family always has masks to spare. We showed our vaccination cards on the phone, put on masks and walked right in even though we did not have a reservation. We noticed other customers leave just because they didn't have a mask or could not produce vaccination status. In any case, do make reservations as they are in heavy demand and always full. Also note that many places in Hawaii close by 08:00PM, leaving you with few choices to eat out later in the evening. Lastly everything in Hawaii is priced high, so expect that as the norm here and other HI islands.
This restaurant offers the best food, crafted with love. It’s a delightful place to gather with friends on a sunny afternoon or to grab a quick bite that leaves you feeling satisfied and happy. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere filled with kindness. The food is wholesome and nourishing for both the body and the soul. I especially look forward to Wednesdays for the roasted pork special and the turkey served with their delicious cranberry bread—it's truly a dish that can turn a foe into a friend. In these financially challenging times, I always feel that my money is well spent here.
