First time, loved the selections of tapas and wine. Nice place to enjoy wine and tapas.
Cozy table by the window and a delightful server. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the arancini, the lamb meatballs, and the beef ragout rigatoni. The wines were excellent. Perfect place to relax. Wake Forest is lucky to have a restaurant of this quality downtown!
Bodega is an absolute local gem that should not be missed. Serge (executive chef and owner has put together a menu that offers a succulent array of foods and flavors that will appease almost any palate. From seared tuna to Peruvian chicken and escargot to foie gras crème brûlée… there are so many options you’ll want to come back to try what you couldn’t try because you were too full on that visit! Some of my personal favorites are the lamb meatballs, NC goat cheese dip (with oyster mushrooms and Holly Grove cheese! and the Beef Empanada NC Wagyu. Located in the historic district of downtown Wake Forest this is a MUST TRY!!!
Food was interesting and delicious. Favorites were bbq terrine, beef wagu empanada. Wine and cocktails were mediocre $13 for a weak, small sangria. Rum cocktail was very light on the rum. Wine selections were not familiar and the two we tried $13 per glass) were mediocre. On our way out we saw someone with their own bottle and found out corkage fee is $25. Next time we will do that.
