This is a rural community sports bar that offers good comfort food served in a pleasant environment. There is a lunch and dinner special M -Sat. Monday night specials are probably the most popular, along with Wing night on Thursdays and Catfish on Fridays. Known for large tenderloins (grilled or fried). Food is reasonably priced and portions are generous. I have always received good friendly service at Slabys which is a family owned business. Nice place to unwind at the end of a busy day with friends and neighbors. Very casual dress code. Nice assortment of cold beer and liquor, as well as soft beverages. For many of us who live nearby, this is a “Cheers” type environment to catch up on current news in the community. Located just a couple of miles north of I-80 Truck Stop on Hwy 130.

Good times! Excellent catfish dinners on Friday evenings.
