I took my family of nine to eat here on a Saturday mid day and was surprised at how good everything was. The food tasted homemade, nothing generic about it. The waitress was friendly and polite. The prices reminded me of the early 2000's. We got a lot of food for a great price. I highly recommend checking Pete's out if your in the area.
Good hometown cafe’ feel. The food was on point hit the spot. (Maybe I was starving. I got the country fried steak with white gravy, fried okra and a Diet Coke I didn’t need but was just really good that day. Everything was cooked perfectly with some crunch. This was “Linner” as my daughter would say.
Mashed potatoes were way too salty. The French fries were good though, and the hamburger was good. Only two people were in the restaurant. We ordered first but were served last. My mother didn't finish her hamburger steak, and it took a long time for the food to show up.
We were traveling through the area and this restaurant popped up on Google maps and was worth the stop. It's an old fashioned retro style diner with good food. Definitely the best fried pickles we've ever had! We had the hamburger steak, country fried chicken, and philly cheese steak and all of it was great! Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
