Contribuer aux commentairesVisited today for lunch and ordered the 3 course special for 16 EUR. Mushroom salad for starter which was delicious then chicken with spaghetti and broccoli strange combination but it was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly best part of the meal.
First time here I was greeted by: nice table outside of the Walldorf pedestrian zone, first German asparagus in the 2018 season, try the German Riesling.
We live right-around the corner. Have never had a bad meal, friendly service, locals love it! Go where the locals go, right now is SPARGEL Season (White Asparagus). It is from our local farmer. I enjoyed it served with FRESHLY made Hollandaise Sauce, boiled potatoes...(yes, locally grown) and home made pancakes, oh so good! Unfortunately I had no room for dessert, but then there is always next time! If you are coming here on Business, to SAP, Heidelberg Cement or any other company, you can not leave without having been there.
Had a great salad starter here but main courses less successful. My beef cheeks weren't to my liking but that may just be me as I hadn't had previously had some rather gelatinous areas to them! Partner's bream was better though fish slightly overcooked...for our taste.
Friendly and efficient service, very good lamb fillets. Could have a bit more choice for wine by glass but not really complaining. Pleasant garden on main street. Not budget but not overpriced.
