We ate at Abrassador last nigh with a group of people. The restaurant is very nicely appointed and it has very good service. I had the lomo saltado with fettuccine alfredo. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fettuccine was very tasty. There were 8 of us an we had three bottles of wine and the bill was $130 USD. Its an expensive restaurant by Peruvian standards but not by North American standards!
Wife got the ceviche champiñones and I got the abrassador. Food was excellent with explosions of good flavor, especially the ceviche. Service was excellent as well. The Pisco Sour was the best I've ever had!
We honestly walked in because the restaurant was close to our apartment and we were exhausted from the day’s activities and did not want to go to far. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitively recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
We were recommended this place by our hostel which is located not too far away and we were glad we went there (first on Sunday but it was closed so we went back on Monday). The meat platter was top quality and we think it's even better than what we had in Argentina or Brazil (it's that good). The price is very reasonable and the service is very good too. That was one of the best meals in our 16-day trip to South America. Given so few reviews in TA, we would've never been had it wasn't for a local recommendation. Check it out. I think it's worth it even to take a taxi there if you stay in the city centre.
