I hadn't been in a Chicken Shack forever. I was very happy and surprised at the additions and changes to their menu. For example Crunchy Chicken is a lightly fried/broasted take on regular fried chicken. Delicious. The fries are really good ... Not the untasty kind one gets at other fast food places. The prices are very fair especially nowadays. I will go back for their lunch menu next time. It looks really good.

Chicken Shack has been a classic in my family for decades. You were always pumped when you got to a family party and there was chicken shack catered. But over the past 5 years the shack has slowly become mid. I could usually make a regular 4 piece dinner into two meals just due to the size of the breast, last time I ate the whole thing because the pieces were so incredibly small, and the breast for the first time in my life was tough and overcooked. The app has the well done option for the sides, not the main course. And there is never extra butter, even when asked. The perfectly sized crescent potatoes are no more. Recently they were way too big and not cooked all the way, and the latest time they were so incredibly small and crunchy. Definitely lots of changes happening here. RIP OG CHICKEN SHACK. Chicken has always been cooked with perfection from Irving every time we visited this establishment. We've been coming here for over 12 yrs to date. The workers are friendly and polite, and we're grateful for the great service.

First off when I called, I got Krystal on the phone. She was as sweet as apple pie. Just one of the nicest customer service exchanges I've had in a while. I ordered food for my daughter's baby shower. It was delicious!!! They were getting everything put together when I walked in, and they couldn't have been more kind. Go to this Chicken Shack people!!! You won't regret it!

It's alright they need to use more seasoning on their food.
