Capitol Square Grill - Washington

I like the level of light in the restaurant, not dark. The staff was extremely friendly. Dinner was delicious. Large portions that allowed for take-home.

My boyfriend and I went here after seeing a video on Instagram. I must say that the food lived up to the hype. We had the chicken and mambo sauce deviled eggs, the lamb with mash and spinach, the red snapper with jollof rice and veggies, and the pineapple fire drinks. Everything was well seasoned and hit the spot. We’ll be back for sure!!

Drinks were good, food was decent for happy hour. Good for a quick bite and a few drinks.

We came for my daughters birthday. The service was spectacular and they provided a wonderful ambiance. My daughter enjoyed her curry chicken and my oxtail was tender.

The Capitol Square Bar Grill was a very unexpected pleasure. The outside was well lit and the ambiance was great. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was very good as well. I thought that it was a little pricey and the fact that they put a 20% tip onto the bill prior to my paying was a little surprising. I would definitely go back again and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my freinds and family.
