Contribuer aux commentairesMe and my boyfriend met a friend visiting from out of town there for dinner and drinks. The service was so rushed we could barely hold a conversation without our server asking if we want anything, or our plates when just finished taken from under us. At the end my friend got the bill and put down 100 note, the server then said ‘do you want change’ so she said yes. She was wanting the dollars for the valet at hotel and was going to put a bigger note down for tip after. He then took the money, came back and said he was looking for her change, then came back 2 mins later and said sorry we have no change. I have never heard or seen anything like it. The food was ok nothing amazing. I would not go back as definitely not an enjoyable relaxing restaurant- and it’s trying offer meze, sharing plates and socializing but is more of a McDonald’s fast food vibe for quadruple the price!
I am always looking for different brunchspots, and dolce vita has long been on my list. that was the best I had. eating looks almost too good, but when they dig, it tastes almost better than it looks. style and substance were my opinion after both 10s. and our service was amazing. I can't recommend this place anymore. if they weren't here, they must go, and if it's on their list and they're looking for an apology. I'll be back in the future.
Can’t say enough about Dolce Vida. Went during restaurant week. The food was outstanding and we asked to be in a quiet spot and we got our own room. Great service; delicious food what more could you ask for?
We went to the brunch and I had not expected that they were playing a jazz group right next to the entrance door, that was a really pleasant surprise, at this moment I thought this would be a nice brunch and it was really. the mimosas were great, not too sweet and the food we made the restaurant was great, light, but hearty salad, after the salmon benedic and Mediterranean omelett and for the end a delicious rice pudding, also the coffee was good, which is an important thing in a brunch.
Restaurant week gamble: They did small plates for dinner; not clear that was it small plates on menu presented and so we were hungry at the end of the meal. Waiter was very accommodating when bar screwed up wine. Draft beer not available as mechanisms down. What we had was very good, but just not sufficient to feel good. Went home and ate more dessert.
