I said something obviously upset and the manager started yelling at me. his employees (2 of them) had to hold him back from charging at me and coming into my space. they calmed him down and i thought i was still getting my food waited another 15 minutes to still get nothing. I asked if i was getting my food and he said he was still deciding if i was getting it. obviously was furious at that point started arguing, he called me slurs. it was such a simple interaction that could 've been fixed.
They have rats. Douchebags said they are better than anyone else in the store. Closed early. Please, stay away.
Food was ready quickly, and the fries were delicious. Now to the chicken shawarma and the garlic sauce: incredible. The meat was flavorful and the sauce complimented it perfectly. Definitely see myself coming back here
Asked the difference between a shawarma platter and sandwich. After the explanation, I decided to get the platter. Usually whenever I get a platter it's a deconstructed sandwich with more meat and a few sides. I thought that was what I was getting..clearly some miscommunication. Asked for more meat vs getting fries (which I would have paid more for) but clearly that wasn't understood. What I got was a sandwich, a few tomatoes, pickles, and a garlic sauce. If that was what I was getting, I would have just gotten a sandwich. Overall, good sandwich but not worth 15.
The food was mediocre but the service was horrendous. We called in an order for a party of 5. They told us it would be 20 minutes. We made it to the place in 25 minutes and the order wasn’t ready. We waited upstairs in the dining area and the guy promised he would bring the food upstairs in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later we went down to enquire about our food and he said 5 more minutes. We waited there for 40 minutes and the food still wasn’t ready. When we asked why it was taking too long, the server lashed out at us saying this is a big order and it takes 30-35 minutes to make it. But by then an hour had passed since we placed the order. We started asking him why this is taking so long and finally he told us that they couldn’t make one item and they had run out of the ingredients for it. We asked for a refund for the item and got the rest of the food. Every single item was burned and over cooked. This was definitely not worth the hour wait and drive.I would never go back to this place again. They better teach their people some manners and teach them how to behave with customers.
