Of course, because of the location and view, drinks and food were a bit high, but this is also DC. We were not on the side with the best views, but it was still nice, though a bit squished. This is the first place where I was in D.C. where the rules are that customers need to refill their masks every time the servers get to the table to take or deliver orders, water, check for you, etc. or they stand back and wait. That's probably a good rule. I've never seen that before.
The ambience was great. I wish there were more options. We picked up dinner down at the restaurant. But the food was okay. In our opinion, the price was not worth small portions. Maybe it was Covid cost savings but felt that it could have been a bit more per record.
Fantastic, new rooftop terrace with stunning views, friendly staff and great drinks. I expected a wider menu, but if you are just on the market for drinks and a snack, this is a perfect option. Will return.
Great ambience and amazing view of the portrait gallery museum.
I had the most wonderful time at Rooftop at Riggs my family was in town and we wanted to experience it for ourselves. I made a reservation through open table and the staff was very accommodating trying to make sure we were happy with our seats. I ordered a Rhubarb Daisy (which may be my favorite cocktail of all time) and we also enjoyed at the table an old fashion, wine and creamsicle ice cream sandwiches. Everything was timely and delicious. My dad liked the ice cream sandwiches so much he nearly ordered a second round. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.
