Although this place has a lot of sweet gifts and a lot of choice, everyone who worked here looked miserable. None of the 8 employees welcomed us or said good morning. We ordered lunch and the lady behind the counter didn't even smile. I...give it 3 stars for decent food and the wide range of fresh products. 1 star for customer service.
After lunch before Covid was a little good, we were regularly in autumn and winter for a soup! After lunch I bought a blueberry cake that was just cut into the cake and blueberries were not oozing out very...dry and crust not flaky wet! Very disappointed dyments pies are amazing
It was a destination for gifts and unique items as well as a local vegetable market. Today I have seen many employees behind the checkout desk as well as throughout the shop that do not wear masks. Masks were commissioned by the government and it is a complete disregard for security precautions during this pandemic. I saw older people shopping there and feared for their health.
This is always a terrific place to visit for all sorts of gifts and tasty meals. However, we were disappointed today to find very little effort being made to take precautions in the pandemic. Everyone entered and left through the same door and there were...many customers milling around, making it impossible to keep your distance. We also saw a staff member at checkout not wearing a mask, and another moving fresh produce around without a mask. Most disturbing and we will be staying away until the pandemic is over.
