The restaurant is charming and offers good value for the food. The owner, who also serves the customers, is very pleasant. Just note that they only accept cash as payment.

I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. I'm happy they have extended their hours and done some renovations. It would be great to see them open a location on Fairway Road, as we could use a Chinese restaurant in that area. I wish them all the best in the future. The chef is clearly skilled, as seen by the professional training certificates on the wall. The spring roll I ordered was tasty, but I would have preferred less ginger and a bit more meat. The Satay Beef ho fun dish was absolutely delicious. Overall, a great dining experience.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years. It used to be owned by an older couple, but now it's run by a younger chef who is a very friendly guy. It's a great Hong Kong-style restaurant in Waterloo - clean, affordable, and with delicious food. I especially enjoy the rice noodle stir fry with beef, as it's not greasy. The Jia Jia Lok Famous rice is perfect for those with a big appetite. I highly recommend this place!

Quick service and reasonable price Definitely not the most authentic flavor but worth the price and volume.
