I will first say that no entree on the menu is vegan, which is disappointed. You can make vegan cheese in the ducks sub, but also do not make most of them vegan. We originally ordered the curry but were sure to mention that we were vegan. She returned to tell us there is actually fish sauce in the curry, although there are no signs for it on the menu. We decided not to bother with a duck and instead ordered the red pepper hummus with homemade pita chips, sweet potatoes and tofuries. It was all delicious, fill and super cheap! The waitress told us that all foods were fried in soybean oil, so it was 100% vegan. You can make a solid meal from the sides here, and the waiter is so friendly and accommodating. Despite the disappointing menu, the overall experience was very positive.
The curry they had was very good, but was one of the only vegan friendly entrees they had. And although the Happy Cow description says that the chocolate cake is vegan, it is not vegan. That was the only dessapointing that expects vegan cake, but was abandoned by happy cow:
Very vegan friendly and knowledgeable! Pesto and Parsnip spread both milk free! And they had a delicious Polnta cake duck!!
Probably not getting anything vegan, but I can pretend.
