Plaza Premium Concept Lounge

I would rate the food here as better than the Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge. Good food selection and friendly staff. Can get crowded depending on the time. The washroom can be larger to accommodate the capacity.

The line was long but moved pretty quickly, we were heading to LAX. We were asked if being seated at the bar was OK, and we said yes even though we wanted one of the couch type seats in the back. We were planning to move, but made friends with the bartender who happened to be a fellow Filipino and she was super friendly and we talked about our families and where they are from in the Philippines. The host came back to us to see if we wanted to move, but we stayed at the bar and continued to talk to our Tita (Aunt in Tagalog) Alicia. 5 stars for the wonderful conversation and great service!

I regret to report a steep decline in service quality at the Plaza Premium Lounge in Pearson Airport. As an Amex Platinum cardholder, I was once treated to a serene, exclusive environment perfect for pre-flight work and relaxation. However, that's no longer the case.In recent visits, I've experienced frustrating delays in service due to a clear shortage of staff. In fact, the receptionist had to serve my drinks on more than one occasion. The ambiance has also suffered from overcrowding, likely due to the lounge now admitting cardholders from other credit companies with lower annual fees.The lounge used to offer value commensurate to the premium cost of the Amex Platinum card. But the current state of affairs leaves much to be desired, stripping away the benefits that made that card, or any other premium card, worthwhile.

Mediocre as far as lounges go. Not clean. Uncomfortable chairs. Food needed to be resupplied and had to eat with a spoon and drink soda out of a coffee mug because dishes were missing. WiFi connection wasn’t working. Was shocked to read this lounge was renovated like a year ago?? I give it 6 months and the furniture will be stained and damaged beyond recognition.

YYZ Terminal 1, International Departure, been there in May 2023, one of the worst airport lounges I have ever been. It was like a school cafeteria and the staff had no initiative to clean up. Food was terrible, rice was cold, curry was tasteless and those small samosa were so terrible that the staff had no intention to fry them properly. The eating area was poorly furnished. Don’t waste your time there.
