Swan Inn, Newbury - West Berkshire

We booked a meal as a couple and were quickly shown to our table where our order was taken. The food was well-cooked and the portions were large enough. It took a while before we received the bill, but overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a day at the coast, on our way home through Newbury. We received a warm welcome, delicious food, and excellent service on a busy Friday evening. The cured chicken starter was prepared perfectly, and our main courses of beef and lamb burgers were fantastic. Our dog was also welcomed in the bar with treats, so we will definitely be returning when we're back in the area.
