The people working here are very friendly, humble and welcoming. Their bread and butter, which is homemade, is absolutely amazing. For starters we had seared scallops and shrimp which was filled with flavor, good size on both scallops and shrimp. Then we had an Italian sausage and spinach soup which was creamy, the portion was about a bowl size. For our entree we had a chicken Alfredo dish with fettuccine, wife had a shrimp Alfredo with fettuccine. We were both impressed with the flavor of the food. Based on what our waitress told us, everything is homemade with the exception of the fettuccine and penne pasta. Prices were good and portions were good! Ambience was warm and peaceful, highly recommended for locals or visitors passing thru Columbia, S.C.
The food was incredible! The bread and butter were so flavorful. We'll definitely return!
Meal Type: Dinner Price per Person: $20–30 Food: ★★★★★ Service: ★★★★★ Atmosphere: ★★★★★ I highly recommend trying the Chicken Marsala at this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, making for a wonderful dining experience.
Spinage artachoke dip was amazing and melts on your tongue. Lasagna soup is absolutely delicious. Peach butter was, eh, but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. Eggplant parm was delicious. Grilled chicken for the Alfredo was kinda bland but very juicy. Alfredo sauce was very oily/watered down and looked like it was made with grated parmasan (found in a shaker) instead of fresh parmasan cheese. Over all great experience and staff was very welcoming and did thier job well.
