Taste :4.3/5 environment: 4.4/5 service:4.4/5 the manager was very accommodatiw when we had to revisit our reservation in the following night. on the first impression the bar has a retro design like a call back to the 1920s. The waiters at the escap were dressed in black, while the barkeepers wore the undersigned white uniforms like a cross between a cook and bodyguards clothes. Our culinary adventure began with 2 cocktails, both were suggested by our waiter. I had the mezcal-based “Ready fire Aim” and my partner had the roggen forward “Golden Smoke”. these cocktails are very strong. especially the gs. cocktails: golden smoke: should be better suited for men. this is a smoked cocktail the glass is filled and covered with fenced smoke to improve the aroma. as a presentation, our waiter poured the cocktail mix on an EO logo and etched large clear ice cubes. ready fire aim: a mezcal-based cocktail. the smokiness of the mezcals is clearly evident. they can also taste pineapple and honey in the background. the rfa is compiled with a few dashes of comminuted pink pfeffer grains. dinner: appetiser: Japanese sweet potatoes. they were paired with a cocose paste. the cocos taste played well with the crisp sweet potatoes. head: chicken of wood. surprise of the night. the order consisted of only two pieces. it cost $36 and came around 25 minutes after the jsp. yes, it was tasty, the inner texture was soft and juicy and the skin had the consistency of the tasting duck. but again this grinding time is missing in the amount that is provided. after dinner cocktail: we moved into the bar area and finished with a hibiscus rising. it was similar to the rfa, but had more of a floral taste. last impression. if they are not a fan of straight hard liquor, they can ask the server/bartender to use less of it in the cocktails, because the hard fleet can sometimes overwhelm the others. eo is a cool place when they experience on a bar war or want unique cocktails with great service. eo has been listed as one of the 50 best bars in the world and continues to be acclaimed for its cocktails, eating and hospitality.
We had such a wonderful meal at employees only. they are known for the cocktails, but we also loved eating. Japanese sweet potatoes, hazelnut pesto with burrata to name some were all fantastic dishes. great place for groups (we had 5 people in our party.) they have a cool mood and have in the rule a dj to heal the music. fun spot when they are in west hollywood!
This place was great. cocktails were stellar, desserts were delish! best threw the dj. we just wanted them to have a dance floor.
Came here for drinks. Real New York, speakeasy vibe. My cocktail was delicious. Good for dates catching up with a friend. Low lighting music set the lounge mood. I’d love to make a reservation and try the food here some time!
