The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent, and I have never encountered any problems in the 2 years that I have been ordering from here. The delivery service has always been prompt, with a maximum wait time of 45 minutes, which I consider to be quite good!

First ever time ordering from The Cooking House. Delivery driver really pleasant. Go to say the food was seriously good. Black bean sauce, beautiful, just the right amount of spice and didn't go all thick and gloopy like so many other take away places. Veg chow mein also excellent. Very pleased overall.

Good little takeaway. All the food was very nice. I particularly liked the salt and chilli squid starter. If I had to be critical at all, it does irk me that it’s cash only. That’s questionable to me just from a tax obligation process and if you don’t know and only have a card for contactless payment you can forget it. That’s not good, especially post the worst of Covid. I’m taking one star off for that. But the food is nice. Not great but perfectly acceptable.

I ordered from this takeout restaurant a few nights ago, placed my order online, paid online, and was given an accurate delivery time. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair. I will definitely be ordering from Cooking House again.

The delivery service was slow (I was told it would take an hour but it actually took 1.5 hours), but the food was delicious. I will definitely order from here again, but next time I will probably just pick it up myself.
