An evening train ride out from Oxford to visit this delightful village pub. The landlord was particularly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and I enjoyed a few pints of the well-kept house ale. Highly recommended!
We turned up late without booking hoping to eat- very warm welcome Simple, high quality food (delicious!! , good beer Friendly atmosphere in busy pub
We visited The Gardiner Arms for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The beer festival was impressive, with a wide variety of beers that were all in top condition. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, perfect for enjoying while listening to music in the sunshine. It was the ideal way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Friendly staff who seemed genuinely pleased to see us. We dropped in for a snack and were served tasty homemade soups at a fair price. They were also very knowledgeable and helpful about village transport systems and amenities. Would go again for a proper meal.
