It's a quaint little hometown type cafe between Southern Blvd and Forest Hill Blvd, closer to Forest Hill, sitting on the East side of S Dixie Hwy. There is a neighborly feel to the place, very casual and warm with local (we saw mostly elder folks patrons enjoying a quick bite. Loved the placemats, it was the old school ads as the border with a seasonal word find (my favorite! . My son and I had breakfast here for the first time. The waiter was shy but friendly, food was good (better than a franchise chain place IMO my son commented on the pancakes being some of the best he's had. I personally like the simplicity of everything with this establishment. Total cost for two for breakfast before tax and tip was about $28 (2 OJs and each of us a breakfast meal . Similar average cost in comparison to surrounding breakfast/lunch establishments. This place would be a good addition to your local cafe rotation if you live in the area. There's a quiet atmosphere and service was quick. If you're visiting the area and don't want to wait, Thursday morning around 11am seemed like a good time to get in and out.
Excellent place, to get breakfast as old old-fashioned American style, has some Latino, and Mediterranean dishes also, but is very good. Very recommend alone, with friends or/and family.
Neighborhood restaurant. Pleasant staff. Food is fresh tasty. Chef will try to accommodate your special order requests. It is very friendly place where “everyone knows your name”
The food is great, but even better is the service. We come once or twice a year when we visit family in WPB and our server always remembers us. She's a gem.
