Hill And Holler - West Virginia

The wings had incredibly unique flavor that was delicious. If you like crispy wings, you might want to ask for them that way. Mine were very tender, but also kind of soggy. The unique flavor was worth it to me though.

I had heard that Hill and Holler was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately that was not my experience. Not only did we receive the wrong food it took so long to get, I will say the sesame soy wings were the best part of the lunch. The calzone we ordered a spinach and feta with added ingredients came out as something else off the menu, they did offer to fix this or take it off the bill. This place resonates with the countryside vibes that Lewisburg has. The outdoor dining area offers a serene, pleasant and beautiful view of this quaint little town. Their pizzas are all in-house made, tasty, and rustic. All in all, a fantastic experience.

They are understaffed, and the kitchen is slow. It took over 15 minutes after we ordered to learn there were no tomatoes for capresse salad. The French onion soup was just broth and some onions. The soup came out after our entrees, pizza. It took 40 minutes to get our gluten-free pizzas. If you order the spinach and feta pizza, beware it is loaded with pickled artichoke, which is not on the menu, and no caramelized onion.
