Carey Tavern Sports Grill - Westfield

I went to this bar because a bartender elsewhere told me they had a specific whisky I liked. Got to the bar, saw my whisky up on the shelf, and got excited. Ordered my drink only to be told they were out. So apparently the last bartender who used it put the empty bottle back up and they had no more bottles of it. Not a big deal. Then I go to order food. I'm told they are out of the meat needed for my first and second choice of a meal. Which didn't leave me with anything else I really was craving. So I went for the pretzel bread sticks and a pizza. The bread sticks were pretty good but the pizza was nothing to really write home about. Overall, was pretty disappointed to be told 3 things I wanted they didn't have. Not sure I'll be returning.

The first time I went, I ordered the stromboli. It is so good. Now that is what I always order. Food is fresh and hot. Staff is very friendly. Lots of TVs tuned to different sports channels.

It's not bad it's not fantastic. I do admit all the fried food you'd think it would be greasy... it wasn't. Thin batter and great meaty fried mushrooms, onion rings and tenderloin! Bathroom is paint on a pig but clean. It's definitely a bar not a restaurant. It's good for a quicky. Waitress are friendly and nice ????????????

I just had the greatest BLT of all time! You might think that there can't be much variance with a 3 ingredient sandwich but I just learned otherwise. Great job, Gibran!

We stopped in to watch a game grabbed drinks and an appetizer. Great service good food and drinks! I recommend the potato skins they are amazing!
