Great food and service...paid attention to dietary restrictions. Could use a little more light to read the menu...shouldn't have to use the flashlight on my cellphone!
I took my parents here for their anniversary and loved the service and food. We came on a Monday and it was pretty empty inside. The happy hour drink deals are really good. I got a great martini for $9. Happy hour is only at the bar, outside on the patio, and the high top tables. There were four of us so they were accommodating in putting together two high top tables for us to sit. Entrees were in the $25 to $35 range. I got the ahi tuna and asked for brown rice on the side instead of white rice. They didn't have brown rice but gave me a farro or quinoa mixture instead which was really good. The tuna was cut into squares and were crusted. I was easily able to share some squares with my family and have more than enough for myself too. It was cooked really well, rare which is what I like. When the waitress heard it was my parent's anniversary, they gave us a small crème brûlée on the house. I don't think it was the full sized dessert since it came in a little cup but it was nice.
We stopped in for hh at the bar. Nice happy hour specials for martinis at $9 (gin) and $10 (Chopin Vodka). Lots of other options with food on hh too. Lissa G will post a menu, as we could not find one on the website. In terms of the limited amount of food we did have it was ok. The best of the three was the Burrata. Pretty straight forward. I liked the Ahi tacos. The fish was really fresh but the sauce overwhelmed the fish and was too sweet for me. I would skip on the cauliflower. Nice size portion, but not crispy at all. I'm not sure that was intention but the texture just wasn't there. HH from 4-6 and lots of parking in the lot.
You serve room temperature water and the Linguini tastes like ramen you buy in the store. It's not a bad restaurant, but there are 50 more in Thousand Oaks and Moor Park. Even the food took an hour to get out
