Bourbon Street Beignet - Westwood

This restaurant is truly fantastic! The interior is open and clean with beautiful design, but the real star of the show is the food. I tried the caprese sandwich, which was filled with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The beignets were light and delicious, especially the beignet banana bread pudding. It was dense, moist, and packed with banana flavor, topped with phenomenal custard. The crumb cake was also excellent, with a dense crumb and a unique, buttery croissant flavor. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning to try more of their desserts and sandwiches.

This restaurant offers the best coffee, food, and service! Everything is made in-house with love. You can really taste the essence of New Orleans in the high-quality ingredients used. The croissants, flatbreads, and baked goods are addictive, especially the croissant crumb cake. Additionally, the beignets are the most delicious I have ever had!

I recently visited a beignet restaurant and had a positive experience. Upon arrival, I parked my car in the parking lot and entered the establishment. The line was long, likely due to Mardi Gras, but I eventually made it to the front. I was impressed by the variety of sweets available and decided on the zimt beignets, a lemon bar, and a chocolate chip cookie, totaling about $13. It took some time for my beignets to be made to order and when they came out, there was a mix-up with my order, resulting in a slightly longer wait. Despite this, I found all of the food to be delicious, with the beignets being my favorite. Overall, I had a good experience and would consider returning in the future.

Have been meaning to come here, as it opened this year at the beginning and was not disappointed! it was the fat dosday (mardi gras) and a perfect day for some beignets a frappe. the service was wonderful and cheerful, the atmosphere was simple, but beautiful with beautiful brick details and decor, but the food was out. the French beignets (think French donuts) were sugary, spicy and just the right consistency with a warmth that went out from the inside and not from the outside because they were so fresh. the ice cream I got was lovely and not excessively sweet, just as I like it. I can't wait to try more of the menu that has tees, fruity, drinks, baked and small sandwiches. I am not sure whether the menu is fixed or change the offers from time to time. I would also come all over here just to sit on my laptop and do work because there are many sitting and playing beautiful music. I ate one inside and the rest in the car. I couldn't even wait to come home.

Authenticity is key with food and this place is authentic as it gets! Something for everyone, including amazing flat bread pizzas on homemade croissants, and the cookies are also top notch. Highly recommend.
