La Herrandura Tex-mex - Whitehouse

I love La Herradura. I always get the Inflado plate (cheese enchilada and puffy taco, rice and beans and it never disappoints! The margaritas are good and the price is definitely right. The wait staff is friendly. It's a great neighborhood restaurant. (Much better than La Hacienda!!!

Great food and service. Waitresses were super nice and attentive. Could be cleaner. We had tacos and sopapillas. Beer was super cold!

So I wonder how place stay open or if people really know what good Mexican food is. This place is always packed but I don't think it's cuz of the food. After trying it once I know it's not a place I would recommend nor visit again. Service is slow. Staff was low. And the food is absolutely over cooked dry and flavorless. Maybe it's the cheap drinks that keep people coming. Cuz in no way is this food good.

Both dishes we received were very bland and had no flavor. The flour tortillas were stale and crumbly on the ends. The salsa tasted like it was made from canned tomato sauce.

Been 3 or 4 times everything has always been great! Excellent food and excellent service. Better than La Hacienda and definitely better than Jalapeño Tree.
