It's almost inedible. If they took about 85% of the salt out it would be decent fried chicken. The Peno sticks were pretty old tasting tough. Def. not cooked all the way through either. If you got money to waste and don't mind a 50/50 shot of getting a decent meal. This is your place.
Ordered takeout on a Friday night build your own pizza and wedges. It's named some of the best pizza in whitewater and I can see why! Thin crust was perfect cracker thin and good flavor. Pizza was ready when it was supposed to be and was still piping hot. We also ordered some potato wedges and they were super good, too!
Food was awful and service was worse. Witnessed who seemed to be the owner or manager verbally abuse his employees and bring a young girl to tears. Will never give this establishment another dollar.
Gus' is my favorite restaurant in Whitewater, hands down. A wonderful family owned business run by people who care about their customers and employees. George and Karen are great people. Scott definitely helps keep it running smoothly. I've been going to Gus' since I went to college at UW W in 2009. Consistently delicious! Their food is fire! Anything from the fried chicken to gyros to potatoes and pizza YUM! Highly recommend Gus' and everything on the menu!:
I found this old check in my Dad's collection after he passed recently. He mentioned a few times over the decades his fondness for Gus' Pizza throughout his college years. So much I guess he kept the receipt. Great to see it still around after all these years.
