From the start this place already took a left turn. I arrived with my friend on a Friday at 12:30pm they were still closed saying they didn't open until 1pm, despite the signage on the door saying they opened at 11:30am and Google said the same. Yelp also said 11:30 am but it looks as though they've updated on here. As I was waiting I saw a coupon for $25 for $40. I bought the coupon and when it came to pay the server said they don't take that coupon anymore so I had to contact Yelp to refund my money. The food and drinks were really good so they made up a little for the bad service. I've been looking for a good michelada since my favorite place closed down last year due to COVID. So I'm really glad I found this spot. The only thing is that the service is very poor. The host/server seemed so displeased to be there. He hardly came to check on us despite us being the only other people there besides two other people. Hopefully their service improves because that is all that's bringing their reviews down.
First of all.. I was really looking forward to coming here for months .. we went here after having brunch at Kalaveras and ordered 2 of the giant mimosas, they are not mimosas simply syrup with alcohol we don't all like sugary drinks. Afterwards.. I felt that they took advantage of my friends alcohol intake and WAY over charged him, we were a party of 9 and had 2 giant mimosas, an order of tacos, a regular sized beer and 2 rounds of 8 candy shots NO FOOD .. the charge for everybody was $470 please explain? Had I known he paid that much there and then I would've definitely said something because we would've been better off ordering bottle service at a club instead of syrup drinks . I've tried to make sense of this for the past 2 days and just can't make sense even if they would've charged $100 per giant mimosa it doesn't add up nor would anybody in their right mind pay $100 for a giant mimosa . This is beyond the price of your establishment the fact that you saw a drunk person and took advantage says alot about your business . I would not recommend to anybody .
Best service!!! Will come again. Food was amazing. Drinks was the best. All you can eat tacos 20
Our server was jasmine, she was great! We ordered the civiche and agua chilies. Delicious! Most definitely will come back. Good music and good vibes. Bar is small but most definitely an experience. I'd suggest ordering the big a mimosa! It's all about the experience!
