El Charro Cafe - Why

Ok I?m from Tucson. The guacamole here is outstanding. Huge chunky pieces of avocado served with a slightly spicy salsa. The chips tasted fresh! My prior experience with El Charro is El Charro downtown location, El Charro steak, El charro Oro Valley. The El Charro Oro Valley is not that good. Stale chips and food not served hot. The other El Charros are wonderful including this one at the airport!

Not good at all. I?m used to airport food not being amazing but this was just not good. The beans were orangey, the rice was cold the tacos were gross and I asked for corn tortilla and they were flour. I had a couple bites of the chicken and rice and couldn?t eat anymore. Don?t recommend.

Not many options at the gate, but this was really good. Had the breakfast burrito and loved the fried potatoes rolled inside.

Good place for some food and drinks at Tucson airport. Breakfast menu is limited to 4 core entrees, but there were all good options. My breakfast burrito was great and came with two salsa options. Free coke refill to go was also very nice! VictorB

I was very hungry when I thought I would stop here in the airport. It was super busy. The waitress was handle the whole place to her ability, but there was no customer/server interaction. She doing it all. My food was cold like the prepared it and forgot to microwave it completely, which made me complain about it. The price was high for what I had. Maybe we'll go back at any location not at the airport to see if I can get a better plate of food and better quality of service.
