I came in tonight and sat at the bar around 9:20 pm. I ordered two meals, one for dine in and one to go. I ordered two grande meals with substitutions on each. The first was to replace the ground beef with shredded for all my beef items, and to replace the tamale, which become increasingly smaller in portion with a second taco. I have lived in Wichita all my life and had NEVER been to Abuelos until recently. The food was amazing…the Calabaza and the dip sampler was soooo good! On top of that the service was amazing too. Kayla was pleasant and although she was extremely busy with other tables she still checked on us and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back and will be looking for that awesome waitress Kayla.
