Contribuer aux commentairesWe visited the area for brunch with our daughter this past Sunday (10/24). My daughter has a disability and needs a service dog. However, the manager told us that she couldn't be seated inside the restaurant due to the service animal. We explained that refusing entry to a service animal is actually against the law, but he dismissively refused to listen. We decided to leave, as I would prefer to support a business that values and respects individuals with disabilities, service animals, and special needs. I strongly encourage others to do the same! This experience was completely unacceptable, and it took me until today to write this review because I was so shocked by what happened.
The service we received was both friendly and attentive. The menu offered so many tempting choices that it was difficult to decide. I appreciated the affordable Pick Two and Pick Three lunch options, which provided ample variety. I opted for the beet salad with added chicken, and it was incredibly delicious, lightly dressed to perfection—I savored every bite! My dining companion couldn't stop raving about the Karat Club Sandwich, which showcased freshly made chicken salad, bacon, avocado, tomato, romaine, and aioli on toasted sourdough. We will definitely return the next time business takes us to Wichita Falls, as we’re eager to explore more of the creative options on the menu and plan to take some of their beautiful cupcakes home with us. Don’t miss out on Karat; it truly is a hidden gem!
During our visit to Wichita Falls, we enjoyed breakfast at this charming spot. The food and service were exceptional, and we appreciated the unique atmosphere of the historic jewelry store.

We enjoyed the guitar player and being outside on a beautiful evening. We were seated promptly and the server came quickly. After that it went downhill. 1/2 hour later we hadn’t yet received the drinks we ordered. 15 minutes after that we were told they were out of one of the three side dishes we ordered and were still waiting for. The server apologized and said the bar must have lost the ticket. She comped the cups of soups we had gotten. Disappointing.
